The Gordon’s two main aims were to improve security and to obtain information.
In November 1955 were widespread attacks throughout the island including the use of bombs and an official State of Emergency was declared

As a young man growing up in Bristol, he worked on a couple of the first Jet Aircraft, the Gloster Meteor and the Whittle prototype before joining the English Army in WW2. After returning from WW2 he worked for the Bristol Aeroplane Company on the classic Bristol two-litre car before migrating to Western Australia.
