SB18 The Oxfordshire Light Infantry Victorian Green Cloth Helmet complete with all gilt fittings. Correct Lt. Infy. Helmet Plate which is original to the helmet with no other plate having been fitted. Velvet backed chin chain.

SB19 The Sherwood Foresters Victorian Blue cloth helmet complete with all fittings. Helmet plate with good enamel and original to the helmet. Silk liner has separated from the leather sweat band. Even wear to most gilt fittings complete with velvet lined chin chain.

SB20 A superb example of an Army Ordnance Corp Blue Cloth Helmet. Wonderful gilt fittings with mint KC helmet plate original to the helmet. If it wasn’t for some small damage to the silk attached to the leather sweat band, you could call this helmet mint. Complete with velvet lined chin chain. Has its metal carry tin.

Polish Zischagge lobster tail helmet circa 1650
High skull consisting of eleven riveted segments. Riveted circular crest plate with short spike. One-piece pointed peak with turned edge and open face. Neck guard of four lames, sturdy laminated chin scales attached to the sides. Iron lining rivets with some being replaced due to normal leather repair.
Note: This helmet was originally sold by Wallis & Wallis as lot 1478 Sale 203, 1974.

A Rare 1855 – 1880 17th foot Leicestershire Regiment Forage cap. The Regimental number designation was finally dropped due to the Childers reform of 1881 and only the Regimental devise retained, in this case the tiger.
In very good condition for this type of cap.
