Transferred to 2^nd Div. Sig. Coy 4^th December 1916

RTA: 8^th September 1918 reason given "G. S. W. Left foot amputation of Great Toe". It appears his previous wounds have got infected and Private Player is very sick leading up to his discharge.

Note: The 18^th Battalion landed on Gallipoli on the 22^nd August and went into action almost instantly on “Hill 60” and it is here where Private Player was injured.
