DRESS OF GRENADIER TROOP OF THE NATIONAL GUARD, JULY MONARCHY.
Coat in blue cloth, scarlet piping, buttoned straight at the front by means of 11 black lacquered steel hooks with blue padded breastplate with scarlet piping buttoned on each side by 6 small silver metal module buttons stamped with a flaming bomb with the motto "LIBERTÉ ORDRE PUBLIC".
Scarlet cloth collar. Sleeve facings in scarlet cloth, white facing tabs with scarlet piping forming three points and trimmed with three small buttons.
Long coat tails with the bottom trimmed with a flaming bombs embroidered in threads. At the bottom of the back are four uniform buttons.Complete with two scarlet epaulettes.

Duke of Cambridge’s Own (Middlesex Regiment) Officer’s Helmet Plate.
A good Edwardian example, 1901-1914 pattern with an Edwardian crowned star mounted with a Garter and laurel sprays bearing a silver regimental title scroll ‘The Middlesex Regiment’, with a black velvet centre with silver laurel sprays joined with a battle honour scroll ‘Albuhera’, Prince of Wales’ plumes and a Ducal coronet and cypher, the reverse with three lugs.

Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry Officer’s Helmet c. 1881 – 1901. Blue cloth skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, spike pattern finial, chin chain and spine. The helmet plate with crowned star back plate with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of green velvet a strung bugle horn with castle and red velvet feathers, one hook and two stud fasteners, the green velvet with fading, internally complete with original leather sweat band and silk lining in excellent condition. Overall condition is very good.

Duke of Wellington Three Postal Envelope Fronts signed or initialed by Wellington, the first with cancel for ‘Free 31AU31 1829’ signed Wellington, with a red wax seal with the duke’s crest, second with cancel for ‘Free 9JY9 1835’ signed. The third to Lieutenant Colonel Lord Charles Wellesley with penny red stamp and black Maltese cross cancel, initialed with a red wax seal with the duke’s crest, verso with Limerick 1843 cancel.
